Perils for Pedestrians Episode 152

 Sidewalk bushwhackers
The Sidewalk Bushwhackers clear brush from a sidewalk in Eureka, California. Sidewalk Bushwhackers is a project of Greenwheels, an environmental group that advocates for balanced and sustainable transportation on the North Coast of California. Overgrown shrubbery is a common problem in many communities, frequently making an otherwise good sidewalk unusable. The Sidewalk Bushwhackers approach homeowners with overgrown shrubbery, and volunteer to cut it back from the sidewalk. If the homeowner agrees, they go to work.
