Perils for Pedestrians Episode 153

 Vancouver Land Bridge
The Vancouver Land Bridge crosses Highway 14 in Vancouver, Washington. The bridge is part of the Confluence Project, a series of interpretive artworks by Maya Lin at seven sites along the Columbia River. The Land Bridge forms a symbolic connection between the River and the Land. It also forms a very practical connection between historic Fort Vancouver, the city, and the waterfront, which is cut off by the highway and a railroad.
