Perils for Pedestrians Episode 157

 Sidewalk cafe
Pedestrians squeeze by a sidewalk cafe in Paris, France. Sidewalk cafes are important to the vitality of the public spaces in Paris. However, where sidewalk space is limited, they can be an obstacle to pedestrian movement. Among the solutions that are sometimes used are to widen the sidewalk into what was the street, or even to locate the cafe in the street in place of parking spaces or the curb lane.
