Perils for Pedestrians Episode 161

 Big Dam Bridge
The Big Dam Bridge crosses the Arkansas River upstream from Little Rock, Arkansas. It forms a vital connection between the trail systems on the north side of the river and those on the south side of the river. However, the bridge is also a destination in itself. Not only is it is a major structure built atop an existing dam and lock, but it has a magnificent view from the top, looking across the river, lake, hills and forests.
