Perils for Pedestrians Episode 166

Pedestrians on wide sidewalk in Paris
Pedestrians stroll down the Avenue des Champs-Elysees in Paris. Good pedestrian infrastructure is one of the key factors in mobility choices. Very wide, tree-lined sidewalks give pedestrians a pleasant place to walk, while stores in the adjacent buildings make it an interesting place to walk. There is enough density and diversity in downtown Paris to put numerous destinations within easy walking distance.
