| A pedestrian-bicycle
path goes through the parking garage for a mall in Brussels, Belgium.
The mall and its garage had been built across an ancient footpath,
cutting off access by the public. However, the right of way was shown
in the official 1842 map of roads, giving it the force of law. The
problem was solved by creating the path through the garage to restore
public access to the historic right of way. |
