Mayors from cities across Europe signed the Charter of Brussels at the European Parliament during the Velo-city Conference. The Charter commits the cities to promote bicycling as an integral part of urban mobility. The signatories also call upon the European Commission and the European Parliament to support bicycling at the European level.
