Georgia - Atlanta Pedestrians Educating Drivers on Safety, Inc. (PEDS) is bringing together citizens who want a better pedestrian environment in metro. A pedestrian is 2.5 times more likely to be killed by a stranger with a car than by a stranger with a gun.
Hawaii - Na Kama Hele (Hawaiian for "The Travelers" ) brings together citizens who want a better pedestrian environment in communities across the state of Hawai`i.

Minnesota - The Minnesota Safety Council is a private, not-for-profit organization advocating that Pedestrians have the right of way EVERYDAY.
Missouri - Pedestrian and Pedaling Network "Our coalition is made up of organizations, businesses, and individuals dedicated to improving the quality of life in Columbia through the development of an integrated bicycling, wheeling, and pedestrian network."
New York/New Jersey/Connecticut - Tri-State Transportation Campaignis a non-profit corporation working to reform transportation systems and policies in the 32-county New York/New Jersey/Connecticut region.
